A Guardian Angel at Diley Ridge Medical Center

The Foundation announces the first-ever presentation of its Guardian Angels award at Diley Ridge Medical Center.

Jackie Dibble, a CT/Radiographer at Diley Ridge, was presented her Angel Wings at a pinning ceremony on Monday, March 25. Making the surprise presentation was Diley Ridge President, Jodi Wilson, and Mount Carmel Foundation President, Doug Stein.

“Jackie is truly a patient advocate and a role model for service excellence, said Jodi. “She treats all with courtesy and kindness and is a wonderful associate who is well respected by her peers.”

According to Doug, a Guardian Angel pin is awarded when a patient or a grateful member of the patient’s family makes a charitable contribution to the Foundation in honor of an employee for being a “guardian angel” during that patient’s stay.

“This particular family member was touched by Jackie’s compassionate care at Diley Ridge,” Doug said. “The donor’s testimonial on file at the Foundation says ‘extreme kindness,’ which is short and sweet, but its impact is felt by the Diley Ridge staff.” It also says volumes about the appreciation this family had for Jackie during their loved one’s time of need.”

In addition to the commemorative pin, Jackie was also presented a bouquet of flowers from her Diley Ridge co-workers and a Guardian Angel statuette.
